I have had a specialist interest in treating shoulders since qualification. I have worked as part of the Orthopaedic team at Homerton University Hospital, where I saw mainly shoulder and hand surgery patients. Since moving into Private practice in 2011 I have trained under Matthew Carpenter (previous owner of Marple Physiotherapy) and have attended courses run by Jo Gibson, Shirley Sahrmann and have completed The Kinetic control course at Keele University specialising in motor retraining of movement faults. Jane Turner who works as part of the Specialist shoulder team at Stepping Hill Hospital also works with me at the practice.
