I am a Leeds based Chartered Physiotherapist with a wealth of experience in elite sport. I qualified from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science prior to achieving a First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. Currently, I am studying towards a Masters (MSc Sports Physiotherapy) at the University of Bath, in which I will be conducting the final research phase in September 2017.

I am currently a Senior Rehabilitation Physiotherapist with Huddersfield Town AFC in the English Football Championship (Previously Premier League), having previously held the title of Head of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation to Yorkshire Carnegie RUFC (Previously known as Leeds Carnegie RUFC), working in the Guinness/AVIVA Premiership and Greene King IPA Championship. Within this period I have been fortunate to work as Physiotherapist to the RFU for the Championship XV in camps and fixtures against Canada and New Zealand. This placed me in good stead to assist and medically lead RFU England U15-16s pathway sessions on several occasions. These experiences led to an invitation to work with the 2015 Samoan international squad, screening their UK & French based players for feedback on world cup selection.?

From 2012-2015 I was the UK based physiotherapist to triple Olympic Snowboard-Cross athlete, Zoe Gillings-Brier through British Ski-Snowboard. During this period I experienced working in a successful local private practice from 2013 to 2015, embarking upon my own private physiotherapy and sports injury clinics thereafter.

Some of my experience and training specialisms comprise of; Acupuncture, Active Release Technique (ART), Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), Postural Restoration Institute (PRI): Myokinetic Restoration and Postural Restoration amongst numerous other assessment and treatment methods. I have also embarked on the UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) pathway.
