Mike qualified as a physiotherapist with a first class honours degree from the University of Cumbria. He is a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist with six years NHS and private practice experience His post graduate qualifications include a diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine, the Mckenzie concept, the Mulligan's concept, a qualification awarded from the Neuro-Orthpodeadic Institute, injection therapy and has also gained a qualification in the Cognitive Functional Therapy approach which focuses on the biopsychosocial model and individualised care, ensuring not only the patient’s structural injury is considered and treated but that the individual and their individual experience is considered also. Mike furthermore is a strength and conditioning coach and also has a qualification in Sports Nutrition and an honours degree in Sport Science and Biology.
